About the Photographer

Don Lozier has been taking photographs for over 20 years.  He began with print and slide film but has converted to digital medium.  He specializes in Wildlife, Nature and Sports Photography.  As a sports photographer, he has shot many high school sports and youth league games.  As a wildlife and nature photographer, Don enjoys traveling to remote and exotic locations for the perfect shot, but also enjoys photographing in his own backyard.

Don was published in the 2006/2007 winter issue of Nature Photographer Magazine.  He has an article and a photograph discussing how to photograph birds in flight.  He also had the cover image which is seen below:
